Listen To My Alibis |
Taken from "Meine Fibel" "Listen To My Alibis" is not only the title of the album, it is also the name of the first track. "J. O. Simon always has good alibis. His ingenious play with Blues Rock & Country elements and even electronic music is a rare and multidimensional experience in today's Independent music! 'Listen to my Alibis' is the first track from J.O.'s new album of the same name (and you will enjoy it, like I did and do!). The song fascinates from the rather vicious verses to the catchy refrain and will guaranteed keep your attention until the last heavy chord's fadeout! The playful turns show the versatile artist's perfection on guitars, keyboards and in every discipline. You won't have to miss a fascinating bridge (it's one minute long!) with some sound experiments, fine effects on guitar improvisations and an adorable shuffle groove. Again, I would like to praise J.O.'s warm and remarkable vocals, the right 'male voice' for the artist's kind of Blues Rock, with some 'butterfly' moments! By the way, the athmospheric intro is almost a track on its own, you'll notice J.O.'s special references to Jazz and Soundtracks, as his exceptional skills of an equal use of handmade instruments and 'virtual helpers'. 'Listen to my Alibis' is an example for great new Rock music, is giving you infectious moments, but leaving the straight road of mainstream at the same time! - Learn more about J.O.
